This group is for romance readers who would like to periodically meet to rave, gripe, or just chat with other people who understand why we read romance novels. However, readers of other genres are welcome because romances include many subgenres.

In addition to periodic meetings to simply discuss books, book club-type meetings will also be available.

Book signings will also be added to the calendar, so if you know of any, contact me. I may not be able to make every event on the calendar, because my schedule may not allow for it, but that shouldn't stop the rest of you!

I'm also adding release dates of books by popular authors. If you know of any book that should be added to the calendar, let me know.

Please note that the in-person Meetups are for the Chicago area. People from other locations are welcome to join this group in order to participate in the online discussions.

Hi everyone,

I thought another in person meetup during the summer might be nice. Alliance has outdoor seating, which I like to take advantage of during the summer. If it is too crowded, we can walk to Wicker Park and sit in the grass (if you are up for it).
